About the Event
Inspired by the 90’s Berlin art scene, where Art was all over the city and out of the established circuit, from video projections to many different kinds of art interventions. Video Art Space is a space for dialogue and reflection.
Bekarei, the Portuguese-Greek cafe in Prenzlauer Berg will host Video Art Space at Pastel, in the heart of the Kreuzberg neighbourhood. Videos will be projected on one of the central windows of the cafe’s facades, between the cafe and the public space, and will be seen by everyone who walks on the street. With Boundary as a theme, 3 artists will be selected every two months. The video projections will run from 18 p.m. to midnight. The videos will have no sound.
